Odia commits a tragic “murder” - black Monday

The whole campus was paralyzed with shock yesterday on Monday 28 at the information notice board at 2pm when the Prime Minister Odia Robert shamelessly broke the glass. This came as a result of him featuring in the gossip column in the local newspaper Nkumba Times that he has got himself a northerner girl.

The Odia incident which has gone down in history as black Monday, occurred in the presence of the Guild President Okebe Nathan and a considerable number of students who were reading the paper Odia threw a volley of a buses to James Mubi the political editor and wanted to fight Andrew Kiwaunka the Business editor of the paper. His fierce attack on the paper and the journalists, and the breaking of the glass has been condemned by people from all walks of life, ranging from spiritual, political, parliamentarians, Ministers, administrators saying he has hammered the last nail in his coffin of the political career he has been pursuing. Hundreds of students have castigated him for his outrageous behaviour “If he can break the glass then he will slap me in his office if I disagree with him,” a fresher who spoke on condition of anonymity told Nkumba Times.

The political editor James Mubi was immediately summoned and interrogated by the security a gents of the university in the security office a bout what happened. Drama broke out a gain in the security office when Odia started hitting back rudely at his boss Okebe Nathan, this intensified Okebe’s anger who seemed determined to take Odia to Mpala police station for his crime. Odia is the Prime Minster, a pastor and a student doing a degree in education but his brutality yesterday made a complete nonsense.
