As the basoga are planning the re-election of kyabazinga on 5th /10/2009 at bugembe in Jinja district, Princes Wambuzi threaten not to intervene in the re-election again.

Wambuzi is the son of the late kyabazinga Henry Wakko Muloki who passed away last year. He is among the 11 chiefs from which the kyabazinga is supposed to be elected. He was elected as the kyabazinga of Busoga which made the chiefs to rebel against him saying that the kingship is not hereditary

But it should be rotational and this time the kyabazinga should come from other region but not kaliro as Kilegeya claims while others are sticking on Gabula Nadyope (iv) from budyope in kamuli district.

Zibondo Wambuzi and his supporters said that re-election of kyabazinga has no meaning to him if the charges are still in court. He however, urged chief Kaunne and the former ‘Katukiro’ of Busoga engineer Wilson Muweleza to withdraw the cases from court. He said if they do it he will be able to intervene in them. He told the press on Tuesday 22nd /10/09 when he was addressing them at bugembe headquarters.

Besides, his supporters condemn the politicians who are utilizing this opportunity and start politicizing their interests in kyabazinga re-election.
