The embattled guild President Okebe Nathan 26 is ending his days in office in total misery.
Its alledged that Okebe missappropriated funds from NRM Youth League intended to facilitate Cadre course training. The training started from 4th -30th Janaury 2010, Over 300 cadres were passed out.
However, during a press conference, Mr. Okebe denied all knowelege a bout that “we never recevied even one hundres shillings from the Youth League as its being spread,” he has said.
Okebe further explained that the guild activity got a kiss of life from money lenders; a loan up to the tune of 2.5m was procured.
Political analysts have criticised Okebe administration for the losses it incurs for every guild activity it undertakes at the expense of students. These activities include guild bazar, Miss Nkumba, Fresher’s ball among others.
It’s not the first time Okebe has been under public scrutiny, last year in late October, the then second year Law students threw Okebe to the wolves when he showed little interest in helping the miserable students from the plight they were sustaining.
